I had a mixed experience at Hotel Zihuatanejo Centro. The location was fantastic and very walkable, providing easy access to many restaurants and attractions. However, the amenities fell short—particularly with the wifi being weak and the street noise disrupting my sleep at times.

Rooms
6.0
My room was cleaner than expected for the price, though it did have a few issues, like intermittent hot water. The air conditioning worked well, and the beds were comfortable, but the room itself could use some updates.
Service
5.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. However, I did experience a somewhat pushy situation with one staff member who followed me asking for a tip, despite already having carried my bags myself.

The hotel's location is excellent—close to the pier and lots of restaurants, but noise from the street could be bothersome if you're in a room facing it. It's very convenient for exploring the area.
Dining
6.0
The dining options were decent, and I particularly enjoyed some of the local dishes like fried oysters. However, there weren't many upscale dining options within the hotel itself.
Facilities
5.0
The pool was a highlight with its scenic mural, but I did face some challenges. The wifi was often weak, and while housekeeping did a fine job, there were minor maintenance issues in the room.

I had a decent stay at Hotel Zihuatanejo Centro. The location was fantastic, close to restaurants and the beach, and the pool was a highlight with its beautiful mural. However, I encountered issues with the wifi, which was quite weak, and the hot water was often only lukewarm. Overall, it was clean and comfortable, but not without its flaws. 🌴😅

Rooms

The Superior Double Room I stayed in had firm beds and a functioning air conditioner. Most rooms even had a balcony, which was nice. However, some rooms were a bit rough around the edges.
Service

The staff were friendly and helpful, though I noticed they didn't speak much English. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning my room daily.
Location

The hotel's location was excellent, situated on a walkable street, close to the beach and various restaurants. However, my street-side room was noisy at times.
Dining

The hotel offers a restaurant where I had some delicious traditional local cakes, adding a nice touch to my meals.
Facilities

The pool was scenic and one of the best amenities, while there were facilities for laundry and tour assistance, too.

My stay at Hotel Zihuatanejo Centro had its highs and lows. The location was fantastic, just a few blocks from the pier and surrounded by plenty of restaurants. However, I did encounter some issues like weak WiFi and a few pesky cockroaches in my room.

Rooms

The room was neat and had firm beds, though I expected more for the price. The fridge didn't work, and I had intermittent WiFi, which was frustrating.
Service

Housekeeping was diligent, cleaning daily and providing fresh towels. The staff were generally friendly, although a couple seemed a bit pushy for tips.

The hotel's location was great, close to the beach and many dining options. However, the street noise could be bothersome if you’re in a street-side room.

I enjoyed the fresh dishes at the onsite restaurant, though it wasn't anything extraordinary. I would have liked a bit more variety in the menu.

The pool was lovely and scenic, enhancing the overall experience. But the overall facilities felt very basic.

My stay at Hotel Zihuatanejo Centro was pretty mixed. The location was excellent—close to the beach and tons of restaurants—but the WiFi was a real letdown, often spotty and weak. The vibe was clean and comfortable, but I did have some issues with noise from the street outside and a few cockroaches in the room.

Rooms
5.0
The Deluxe Double Room had a comfy bed, and it was made up daily with fresh towels. Unfortunately, I expected an extra-large bed but got two doubles instead, which was disappointing. Also, the fridge didn’t work and the TV had no channels.
Service
6.0
The staff were generally friendly and did a good job cleaning. However, I found one staff member somewhat rude when they followed us for a tip while we were carrying our bags.
Location

The location was awesome—steps away from the beach and nearby restaurants. But if your room is street side, it's pretty noisy due to traffic.
Dining
6.0
The restaurant served decent meals, but I wouldn't call it luxury dining.
Facilities
6.0
The pool area was nice and scenic with a mural, and they offered housekeeping and laundry services. However, don’t expect much in terms of hot water; it was usually cool at best.

I recently stayed at Hotel Zihuatanejo Centro and found it to be a decent spot if you're looking for budget accommodations in a great location. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, but I did face some challenges like intermittent WiFi and noise from the street. Overall, it's great for easy access to local attractions and restaurants, but don't expect luxury.
